IBC Award for the Triplets
This project was awarded the Medal Eugene C. Figg, IBC, Pittsburgh, for symbolic bridges and recognizes a single, recent and spectacular achievement in bridge engineering that, through vision and innovation, provides a symbol for the community for which it has been designed.
National Engineering Award 2012
The road operator Sabana Occidente SA hired Pedelta for engineering and design work for "El Cune" Tunnel in the municipality of Villeta, on the road which connects Bogota with Medellin and the Atlantic Coast.

Innovation in Engineering Award 2011 in the category of New Building Materials to Mr. Juan A. Sobrino Almunia for his contribution to the development and use of new building materials.

Footbridge Awards "Bridge Design & Engineering", to the longest GFRP Footbridge. Over HSR in Lleida (Spain)
This was the first bridge made out of GFRP material in Spain, being also world record span in its structural-material class.
The cable-stayed bridge in Envigado receives National Engineering Award of the Colombian Society of Engineering

In recognition of his contributions to innovative design and rehabilitation of bridges in Spain, contributing to the introduction of new materials in structural engineering, and the promotion of the use of reliability techniques in the evaluation of bridges in Spain and Latin America. He is the second Spanish engineer to receive this award after Santiago Calatrava (1988).
