Garrison Crossing - Fort York Pedestrian and Cycle Bridge received a CCE Award of Excellence

Pedelta is honored to be awarded a Canadian Consulting Engineering Award of Excellence for the signature stainless steel bridges at Garrison Crossing in Toronto.

The innovative stainless-steel structure is the first of its kind in Canada and an unprecedented technical accomplishment in North America. The structure has an extended life cycle, is more corrosion resistant, and requires less maintenance resulting in significant sustainability and economic benefits for the city.  Pedelta was awarded the lead designer's role through a competitive evaluation process led by Build Toronto, a representative of the City of Toronto.  Pedelta was proud to partner with CreateTO and Dufferin Construction Company to bring this beautiful, cutting-edge infrastructure to Toronto and North America.
