Inauguration of Bosa's hospital in Bogotá

Inauguration of Bosa's hospital in Bogotá: Colombia's first 3P (Public–Private Partnership) Healthcare Center.

With an almost US$190M investment, the 32,000 square meters public hospital provides 215 beds and 136 single-patient or double occupancy rooms, and specialized health services, will benefit directly over 400,000 individuals in the region.

Since the early stages of the project PEDELTA provided engineering services supporting the general contractor during the Design-Build proposals eventually awarded to the team PHB + Pedelta.

Bosa's Hospital represents a significant milestone in Colombia's healthcare infrastructure, being the first public hospital constructed through the innovative Public-Private Partnership (3P) model. This groundbreaking initiative integrates Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, enhancing efficiency and precision in the hospital's design, construction, and management processes.

Pedelta's responsibilities include conducting comprehensive feasibility studies, conceptualizing the design, and providing detailed structural and seismic design for the healthcare facility. Moreover, the collaborative effort between Pedelta and the renowned TASH architectural firm has resulted in an overall design that adheres to the LEED© rating system with a goal to achieving a LEED© Silver certification.

This commitment to sustainability aligns with global efforts to create environmentally friendly and energy-efficient structures, further emphasizing the hospital's dedication to holistic well-being.
