Structural Design of a Wastewater Treatment Plant in Celra

Project Description

Pedelta carried out the construction project of all the structures of the Celra Wastewater Treatment Plant, just north of the city of Girona in northeastern Spain and provided technical assistance during construction.

The structures incorporated in the project were: various water retention structures, a decanter of 11 m diameter, a biological reactor with a plan dimensions of 45x24 m2 and a height of 5 m, a reinforced concrete building with unidirectional flooring constructed using prestressed beams, a water pre-treatment building (including sludge dehydration facility, grinder and sedimentation basin), water outlets, etc.
